After your order, we pack your ordered products and carry out quality tests one last time. On average, leaves our warehouse a maximum of 6 hours after your order. However, due to Sundays and public holidays or unforeseen problems, it may take up to 72 hours.

We ensure delivery either by putting it in your mailbox or by signing it when the package arrives. If you choose the “leave in a safe place” option with your shipping partner, we cannot assume any liability or responsibility for the package in this case.

shipment tracking
After we have handed your order over to our shipping service provider (on average no more than 6 hours after ordering), you will receive an email with tracking information. There you will find arrival date, time and other information.
You still haven't received a tracking email from us after 72 hours? Then please take a look at your SPAM folder or simply contact us at hello@tryhoki.com . Then we will take care of it as quickly as possible.

Delivery still hasn't arrived after 8 working days?

Can I change my delivery address?
Yes, this is possible if we have not yet sent your order. Simply contact us as quickly as possible at hello@tryhoki.com .
If your order is already on its way to you, you can still change the arrival address using the shipment tracking that we will send you by email.
Please make sure you provide the correct address. If the address details have been provided incorrectly and your order has already been delivered to that address, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund.
Which countries do you ship to?
At the moment to Austria, Germany and Switzerland. However, other countries are also planned in the future.
Is delivery to a packing station also possible?
Our packages are packaged so that they fit into every mailbox.
We can generally deliver to packing stations. However, complications always arise, which means we do not recommend specifying a packing station. If there is no other option, we will still do our best to accommodate your request.
Are there customs fees?
We ship all orders from our warehouse in Urmitz (Germany) and Vienna (Austria). All orders to addresses in Austria and Germany are not subject to customs duties.
Customs fees apply for shipments to Switzerland, which we cannot cover and are not included in the shipping or product price.

How do I use the hōki correctly?
Step 1
If you feel anxious, stressed, or panicked, be mindful. Recognize it and realize that it is not necessarily a part of you. You are not the fear or the stress.
step 2
Inhale deeply (2-3 seconds) through your nose while keeping your mouth closed. Focus your thoughts on your breath and nothing else. “Fill your belly” completely with air. As you breathe, try not to hunch your shoulders. It's about using your gut.
step 3
Hold your breath for 1 second after inhaling.
Step 4
Breathe out slowly through the hōki. This step is done incorrectly by most people. Instinctively we want to push the air out or force it through the hōki, but you just have to let the exhalation flow. Relax your jaw and lower your shoulders. Feel your muscles relax. Exhale at least 80% of the air. Your parasympathetic nervous system is activated along with the vagus nerve, causing relaxation. It usually takes a few tries to get used to this new exhalation.
Step 5
Repeat the sequence at least 5 times. Be aware of what you feel in your body with every breath.
Isn't just a straw enough?
The specially designed diameter of the hōki slows your exhalation to an rVNS level, stimulating the vagus nerve.
A straw has completely random diameters, which can sometimes even trigger stress reactions in the body. Using a straw can sometimes achieve exactly the opposite of relaxation.
How do I clean the hōki properly?
We will automatically send you all care instructions by email after you order.
In short, the best way to clean your hōki is as follows:
- Each hōki is produced from 316F medical-grade, antibacterial stainless steel. Even though you should use your hōki every 10 minutes, you don't have to worry about disinfecting or cleaning it.
- If you still want to, you can simply rinse your hōki with water and dry it with a microfiber cloth.
How you should NOT clean your hōki under any circumstances and other tips will be sent to you automatically by email after you order.

Can't I just breathe without hōki?
With the hōki you don't have to buy breathing courses or coaches because it controls your exhalation all by itself and without training.
In addition, you don't have to concentrate on correct breathing during a panic and anxiety attack because the hōki automates this for you.
What is the science behind hōki?
Psychotherapists developed the hōki based on countless scientific analyses. You can find out more about this here .
How is the hōki produced?
We work with leading stainless steel suppliers to ensure the highest quality products. The hōki uses 316F stainless steel, which is sometimes used by Swiss luxury watch manufacturers and in medicine. For the colors 18k gold and 18k rose gold, 18k gold is actually incorporated into the coating of the hōki. We spared no expense and took no shortcuts. After all, you probably put the hōki in your mouth every day and the materials used not only have to look elegant, but also adhere to the strict EU REACH standards.

Why are the colors "18k gold" and "18k rose gold" more expensive?
For the colors 18k gold and 18k rose gold, 18k gold is actually incorporated into the coating of the hōki. Therefore, these gold-plated versions are more expensive because the processes and materials involved are more expensive.
Why is the hōki relatively more expensive?
That's a legitimate question. The price of the product is based on a few different variables.
The first is that we use a medical grade 316F stainless steel and the colors are permanently applied to the stainless steel using a PVD process. This is important because on most jewelry the colors will wear off or the plating will crack. Our hōki is durable, elegant and functional, designed and tested to help you breathe better for years to come.
Next, we use recycled materials, which increases costs. While we help you breathe better, we also want to help our planet and be more environmentally conscious. That's why we're refining and streamlining our methods with the utmost respect for the planet.
We have also developed a relaxation platform for everyone who gets a hōki. A platform like this alone would be worth that price when you look at the prices of breathing courses and therapists.

What does the Japanese engraving on my hōki mean?
The Japanese engraving literally means “Breathe deeply”. It is intended to remind you to take deep and slow breaths in order to go through your life more relaxed and consciously.

Does the hōki make a noise?
Thanks to the special coating in the interior of the hōki, noise is reduced to an absolute minimum. You can only hear the hōki if you concentrate hard on it and your surroundings are completely quiet. We measured no more than 30 DB, which is quieter than someone whispering.
Can pets hear the hōki?
Basically and most of the time not, because you are rarely in a completely quiet environment. In a room where there really is no sound, some pets such as dogs will hear the hōki. Nevertheless, we have found that this does not irritate any animal, but rather relaxes it. Because when you are relaxed, your pet is also relaxed. Your energy transfers.

I made a mistake when ordering and I would like to change something. What now?
As your order details are quickly passed on to our warehouse to ensure the fastest delivery, we may not be able to make any changes. Nevertheless: Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@tryhoki.com. Then we'll see what we can do.
Will I receive an order confirmation and invoice from you?
Yes, you will receive a detailed order confirmation by email immediately after your order. Please also check your spam folder if you cannot find confirmation.
Can I cancel my order?
Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to cancel your order once your order has been paid for, as it will then automatically be passed on to our warehouse. However, you can exercise your right of withdrawal and return your order within 14 days. You can find all information about this here .
Do you offer a guarantee for the hōki?
Yes, we offer you a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you have tested your hōki for 60 days and followed our instructions on the myhōki Relax platform and are not a bit more relaxed, we will refund your costs. You can find out more here .
Do you offer options for retailers who want to order more than 5 hōki at once?

Can I return my order?
Of course, we think it's a shame that you don't want to keep your order.
Simply contact us at hello@tryhoki.com and let us know why you would like to return your order. We can then initiate the correct returns process.
Will I incur any costs for returning the product?
If the 60-day money-back guarantee doesn't apply to you, then yes.

How secure is the payment?
Your privacy and security is our top priority. We use Shopify Payments, an extremely secure and highly encrypted system used worldwide, designed to protect customers. So don't worry 😉
What payment methods do you offer?
We accept good old payment methods such as credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) as well as debit cards that can be used for online transactions. If you're a little more tech-savvy, we also offer GooglePay and ApplePay!
Do you need a little longer to pay for your hōki order? We also offer Klarna payment plans.
Unfortunately, Maestro or Visa Electron are not currently accepted. If you're using a prepaid card, make sure it has a balance of at least $1 more than your financing contribution amount.
How do I use a discount code?
- Put all the hōki you want to order in the shopping cart.
- Proceed to checkout and fill out your shipping details.
- On the page where you can enter your payment details , you will also find an input field for your discount code. Enter your code there. Click on the arrow to the right to activate the discount code.
- Now you should see how much you can save.
Please note: Only one discount code can be used per order . If you have multiple discounts to redeem, we recommend placing separate orders.
